How to Customise the End Page in Porsline
Watch how we create personalised End Pages, display relevant messages and direct respondents to the right next step after submission.
The respondent experience does not have to end when the Submit button is selected.
With End Pages in Porsline, you can control what each respondent sees after completing a online form, survey or quiz. You can display a personalised message, show a result, offer a next step or direct the respondent to another page.
In this video, we introduce the main End Page options and show how they can support different post-submission experiences.
Continue the Respondent Experience After Submission
A default thank-you message may be enough for a simple form, but many projects require a more purposeful next step.
Depending on your objective, you may want to:
- Thank the respondent with a personalised message
- Display a test score or result
- Recommend a product or service
- Present a discount code
- Link to a report or resource
- Reload the form for the next respondent
- Redirect the respondent to another webpage
End Pages help you connect the submission to what should happen next.
What You Will See in This Video
We introduce the main ways you can use End Pages in Porsline, including:
- Creating a customised Thank You Page
- Adding an image, video or message
- Using Piping to display a respondent’s name or score
- Adding a button that opens another destination
- Reloading the form after submission
- Redirecting respondents directly to an external URL
- Creating several End Pages for different respondent groups
The video provides an overview of these options without replacing the detailed configuration instructions that will be available in the Porsline Help Centre.
Personalise the Thank You Page
The Thank You Page allows you to decide what respondents see immediately after completing the form.
You can add your own message and visual content, then use Piping to include information already collected in the survey, such as the respondent’s name or final score.
You can also invite respondents to share the form or provide a button that leads to a report, promotional page or other relevant resource.
For surveys used in physical locations, such as shops, events or exhibitions, the form can be reloaded so it is ready for the next participant.
Direct Respondents to a Custom Destination
The Redirect to a Custom Page option sends respondents directly to a URL you select.
This can be useful when you want to direct them to:
- A promotion or discount page
- A product announcement
- A booking or registration page
- A website resource
- A support or follow-up page
The respondent moves directly to the selected destination without seeing a standard Porsline End Page.
You can also include dynamic information in the destination URL through Piping.
Create Different End Pages for Different Respondents
One End Page does not always suit every respondent.
By combining End Pages with Logic or calculated scores, you can create different post-submission experiences for different groups.
For example, an NPS survey may direct:
- Promoters to a thank-you and referral page
- Passives to a standard acknowledgement
- Detractors to a support message that explains the next follow-up step
This allows the final message to reflect the respondent’s actual experience rather than displaying the same response to everyone.

Use End Pages in Customer Experience Workflows
End Pages can play an important role in customer experience surveys.
A satisfied customer may be invited to share feedback publicly, while a dissatisfied respondent may see a reassurance message and information about the follow-up process.
The End Page should support the action your team intends to take after reviewing the response.
For score-based surveys and assessments, watch How to Add Scores to Your Online Test.
Plan the Next Step After Submission
A useful End Page should give the respondent a clear conclusion or next action.
Before building it, decide:
- What should the respondent understand after submission?
- Should they stay on Porsline or visit another page?
- Does every respondent need the same message?
- Should the message include a name, answer or score?
- What action should follow the submission?
Start with one clear outcome and add conditional End Pages only when different respondent groups genuinely need different experiences.
